New Mini Medics Children’s First Aid Course
Mini Medics is a very basic introduction to First Aid for children between the ages of 7 and 11, taught at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies. The course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, making it educational and practical. Mini Medics will instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured, giving them the confidence and knowledge to calmly know what action to take should they find themselves in this situation. The syllabus has been designed to support the National Curriculum and it includes modules that support elements of both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 Personal, social, health and economic education.
Course Duration
This course is 1 hour and 15 minutes in duration and includes educational, theoretical and practical teaching sessions. Mini Medics is based indoors and it can be incorporated as one of your B activity choices during your visit, it is also a great choice, not only in summer but in the winter too!

Certification
On completion of this course, a certificate and a Mini Medic ‘Text Book’ will be given out to take home.
