Both our non-residential activity days and residential trips provide the perfect opportunity for primary school pupils to grow and develop. Education outside the classroom is key to developing well-rounded young people and it creates a balanced curriculum, a fact that is both self-evident and supported by OFSTED. Outdoor learning and immersion into outdoor activities is an ideal way to achieve these objectives with your primary school students.
For many younger children, our programmes provide their first opportunity of experiencing a true outdoor setting. We provide a structured, safe and controlled environment for your pupils to face new challenges and develop new skills. This, in turn, leads to increased self-confidence and transfers to increased engagement levels back in the classroom.
Transferable lessons in perseverance and resourcefulness will stay with your pupils as they develop through their education and life. Woodlands Adventure creates the perfect setting for you, as a teacher, to get to know your students better, building up their trust and respect.
Our programmes are also ideal for an end-of-year activity day and can provide a photographic backdrop for an end-of-year record, especially for those soon to be moving on to the next stage of their education, giving an exciting memory of your school.
We are very happy to arrange a bespoke programme suited to your particular aims and requirements.Specific activities suitable for younger children can also be provided. We can even offer a range of themed days, such as Pirates or Robin Hood.
We take great pride in having the ability and facilities to work with anyone with any additional requirements or special educational needs. Our staff are well trained and have extensive experience in this area. We believe that everyone deserves the same treatment and opportunities. If you have pupils with additional needs, please get in touch and we will be more than happy to discuss any requirements with you.
