Our staff have received the necessary training needed to provide the appropriate level of care and assistance to our visitors who have disabilities. We want participants to enjoy the opportunities and experiences we can provide at Woodlands Adventure and Outdoor Learning.
We work with many charitable organisations to provide tailored visits to Woodlands Adventure and Outdoor Learning. We liaise with group leaders about additional requirements of the group, ensuring that the appropriate disabled friendly equipment, staff numbers and skill levels of our staff are all in place on the day. As each and every person with a disability will have different requirements, it is very important that we discuss these with you before you make a booking.
We have a dedicated hoist to enable your group members to access the climbing wall and zip wires but unfortunately, our canoes and kayaks are not designed to take wheelchairs. As a general rule, we regret that we cannot assist with lifting adult-sized visitors.
Please get in touch with us to discuss your specific requirements.
