Woodlands Adventure & Outdoor Learning is operated by the Birmingham Boys and Girls Union (BBGU). We are one of Birmingham’s oldest children’s charities, founded in 1906. When the BBGU was formed, it played a vital role in supporting many impoverished and disadvantaged children within the city of Birmingham – and the stand out principles established then have shaped what we are today.

Our activity centre stands out from the crowd. We welcome all visitors. The passionate staff of Woodlands Adventure have the necessary training and experience to make this centre accessible to people of all ages and all abilities.
Registered charity
We are a registered charity and operate as a non-profit organisation, with all profits used to enhance the activity centre – making it accessible to even more people, and offering underprivileged children the chance to visit Woodlands Adventure. The more custom we get and donations we receive, the more we can do for local young people and for the community.
